SigmaSense selects Dawar Technologies as a partner to provide interactive touch solutions to targeted markets

SigmaSense and Dawar partner to provide interactive touch and touchless interfaces for the
medical, industrial and marine markets in the USA

AUSTIN, Texas USA – December 1, 2020 - SigmaSense, the global leader in touch screen performance, today announced partnering with Dawar Technologies to provide the demanding interactive touch screens required by product designers in the medical, marine and industrial markets.  SigmaSense has selected Dawar Technologies, as a preferred partner for non-consumer market segments.  As a preferred partner member, Dawar Technologies receives extensive training from SigmaSense on the SigmaDrive™ enabled touch controller devices and associated development tools so that Dawar Technologies can optimize design and manufacture of custom interactive touch solutions based upon SigmaSense’s technology.

SigmaDrive Technology

SigmaSense’s unique SigmaDrive current mode delta sigma technology provides from 100 to 1000 times superior signal-to-noise (SNR) capability compared to the industry today. Because each touch sensor channel has a dedicated sigma-delta modulator and are all concurrently driven using a digital narrow band filter, an extremely high SNR is achieved even while using a very low drive voltage. This game-changing development is poised to disrupt the touch sensor market providing robust, reliable touch operations even through liquids, contaminants and electrical noise while easing tedious tuning operations.

New, advanced Human Machine Interface (HMI) functionality is also enabled by SigmaVision technology. SigmaVision provides concurrent, real-time high-resolution imaging of the entire screen. High fidelity information, reported at the industry’s fastest report rates, can detect all of the objects touching or in proximity to the display surface.  High speed, high fidelity data is ideal input for machine learning applications that can then identify the object. This more advanced HMI capability will usher in a new wave of user experiences for the medical, industrial marine and other markets
