Dennis Fitzgerald, President and CEO

Dennis brings over 26 years of sales, product development and operations experience from his work with industry-leading manufacturers such as Johnson Controls, Dynamet Incorporated and Fisher Scientific. These industries varied in scope from building automation systems to the manufacture of precision forged & machined components for the orthopedic and aerospace industries. Prior to joining Dawar Technologies, Dennis was the Director of Operations for Fisher Scientific’s Electrochemistry Division. Dennis has been with Dawar Technologies since March of 2002. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and a Masters in Business Administration from Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.

Karl Gerthoffer, Chief Financial Officer

Karl came to Dawar in 2006, bringing 15 years of financial accounting and management experience. He started his career with the 15th largest manufacturer and distributor of building products in the country, where he quickly moved up to the controllership position. During his time there, he was a key member in a multi-state corporate restructuring that greatly improved the company’s financial position. Karl comes to Dawar Technologies from a packaging distributor and manufacturer that serviced the largest steel and aluminum companies in the world.  In addition to his controller position there, he was also responsible for office operations, Human Resources and Information Systems for the company. He also served in the 420th Engineering Unit of the United States Army Reserves and is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. degree in Accounting.

Mike Robrecht, Chief Technology Officer

Mike came to Dawar in 2008 after more than two decades in the touch screen industry where he held several key business development and engineering management positions, most recently, Manager of New Technology Development. Mike is considered as one of the industry thought leaders in regard to the design and development of touch screen technologies. He was a key member of the management team that helped to grow a laboratory research group into a globally recognized leader in the resistive touch screen market. During his career Mike was involved in the development of many innovative products and processes resulting in numerous patents. Mike’s 25+ years of technical, management, and business development experience will help continue to move Dawar Technologies forward with innovative new products, technologies, and business strategies that capitalize on their already strong manufacturing and sales infrastructure. Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master’s of Science degree in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Dave Ashi, VP of Sales and Marketing

Dave has held various executive sales and business development in the touch, display and electronics industry for over 30 years, including 13 years with Sharp Microelectronics and TE Connectivity.   He has extensive experience in international and domestic business and market development with some of the largest Global OEM companies in the consumer, industrial, military and medical industries.   Dave joined Dawar in 2016 and has developed a strategic business and market strategy to focus the business on more sophisticated design and system integration builds of user interface display products as well as Dawar branded products.   Dave has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Penn State University and an Electrical Engineering degree from DeVry Institute.

Edin Mesic, V.P. of Supply Chain

Edin joined Dawar in June of 2018 as the VP of Supply Chain.  He brings to Dawar over 20 year’s experience in various executive positions in the functional areas of business planning, organizational strategy, and global supply chain management in the consumer electronics, retail, and high tech juvenile and baby product markets.  Prior to his employment with Dawar, Edin was VP of Supply Chain for 4Moms where he established a business entity in Asia and was responsible for developing a global supply chain strategy and structure for the company, which consisted of developing the tools, recruiting the team, and implementing the business processes to keep pace with an aggressive growth, high technology business.  Edin’s experience and talents complement Dawar’s strategy for continued growth of products, services, and global capabilities for the organization.

Tony Gray, Director of PCAP Touch Technology

Tony began his career with Dawar in January of 2015 and has over 20 years experience as an embedded software developer and projected capacitive touch technologist.   Prior to joining Dawar, Tony spent 7 years in engineering and as director of product technology where he was responsible for over 100 custom projected capacitive touch panel projects.  Tony is highly regarded in the marketplace for his knowledge of touch systems and has presented at several different technical conferences on various issues regarding projected capacitive touch technology.   He is also the author of a book titled “Projected Capacitive Touch: A Practical Guide for Engineers”, published in October of 2018 by Springer.  Tony has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University.
