FLAT LABELS
Are pressure-sensitive, adhesive-backed materials that are printed first surface (on top). They are used primarily as warning/caution labels and as port identification labels generally found on the back of equipment.
ROLL LABELS
Are also pressure-sensitive, adhesive-backed labels that are on a roll instead of provided as individual parts. For high-volume requirements, roll labels are often more cost-effective than overlays or flat labels.
