Pittsburgh, PA – May 2, 2008 Dawar Technologies announced today that it has secured and will occupy a new 47,000 square foot building located on the North Side of Pittsburgh. Dawar has entered into a long-term lease with the new owner of the building, North Lincoln L.L.C. Transition to the new facility will provide Dawar with an additional 23,000 square feet to accommodate their rapid expansion.

“This new building will enable us to work more efficiently and effectively,” said Carl A Snyder, President & CEO of Dawar. “Our business has seen tremendous growth, and our needs have changed dramatically. This location will provide us with a facility where we can continue to grow and provide even better service to our customers.”

Dawar began operations in Pittsburgh 125 years ago as a commercial printer and typographer under the name Davis & Warde (D&W). “We wanted to remain committed to Pittsburgh and were fortunate to find a location so close to our current office. We also wanted to limit the impact that relocation would have on our customers and our employees. I don’t think we could have found a better location for our team,” Snyder added.

Dawar will occupy the existing USA Gourmet building located about 30 feet behind their current facility. Construction of the new space is scheduled to be completed near the end of December. “This is a very exciting change for Dawar Technologies,” said Dennis Fitzgerald, Senior Vice President of Dawar. “This new facility will enable us to expand our selling, marketing, engineering and manufacturing capabilities. It will also allow us to continue advancement in the services and technologies for human machine interface solutions that are demanded by our customers.”
